LOS SURFERS DEL MAÑANA HOY HACIENDO LA HISTORIA DEL REVOLCADERO HISTORICO.
Acapulco presento olas de buen tamaño para este tipo de eventos.
Con los primeros rayos solares del sábado 24 de octubre llegamos a playa revolcadero y nos dimos cuenta con agrado que ya estaban surfeando y practicando, conociendo la ola, los contendientes a este evento anual que se realiza en Acapulco el Revolcadero Histórico el espacio para los niños, niñas y jóvenes que practican surf de edades entre 6 y 17 años, los futuros prospectos que representaran al surf en las diferentes competencias.
24 y 25 de octubre fue la fecha para la realización de esta fiesta de convivencia y competencia infantil y juvenil, los competidores provenientes de Nayarit, Distrito Federal, Oaxaca, Zihuatanejo y Acapulco, llegaron con anticipación para participar en este evento que es todo un clásico ya dentro de la comunidad surfer nacional.
Para algunos niños este era su primer evento y estaban súper entusiasmados por participar, era su primera ves en competencia, se notaba sus ganas y novates, su gracia, su ímpetu por tomar la ola y lograr pararse, recorrerla, sentirse apoyados por sus padres o familiares y también por que no, del publico asistente con aplausos y gritos, que reconocía el esfuerzo de estos pequeños y pequeñas, su gracia que los caracteriza en esta etapa, ahí estaban ellos jugando a surfear, auxiliados por un adulto claro, que los ayudaban a tomar la ola, ellos y ellas cambiaron los carritos, las muñecas, por una tabla de surf, son los niños extremos, habido avances del año pasado ahora Cesar Molina que fue la revelación del año pasado con solo 5 años, en esta edición logro el segundo sitio y se hizo acreedor de una tabla de surf para que siga practicando, al igual que Yone Pereira una niña que se abrió paso entre niños y logro el cuarto lugar.
Todo un fenómeno resulto Sebastian Williams de Puerto Escondido Oaxaca quien se inscribió en su categoría infantil, de 9 a 11 años y en categoría juvenil 12 a 14 años logrando el primerísimo lugar en las dos categorías, al igual que Jhonny Corzo con un tercero en su categoría y un segundo en juvenil muy meritorio su esfuerzo, desgaste físico y mental, o tal ves mucho entusiasmo, se divierten en su deporte, Ray Hernández saco la casta por los locales.
En la categoría femenil la campeona defensora por 2 años consecutivos Pamela Verboonen no pudo retener su titulo y fue vencida por Leila Takeda que mostró un buen surfing, a mejorado bastante, esperando que sea constante, para que se desarrolle mas esta categoría, mas competividad entre ellas.
Y en la categoría mas pesada, la de los “pros” juveniles el nativo de Zihuatanejo Martín Vázquez se impuso claramente, su experiencia en eventos nacionales e internacionales a pesar de su corta edad, le valió para llevarse la gloria del Revolcadero.
Conciencia ecológica con la liberación de tortugas marinas del campamento Tortuguero playa Hermosa de Mónica Vallarino, por parte de todos los niños, mas de 500 tortugas volvieron al mar, así mismo Yamaha y Nestlé regalaron playeras a los niños que liberaron tortugas y se regalaron dulces a los todos, se partió el tradicional pastel en honor a “la charra” Hernández y se le cantaron las mañanitas a Johny Corzo que en unos días cumplirá años.
Se reconoció a José Manuel “yuco” Trujillo por haber logrado el campeonato nacional 2008/2009, a Don Emilio Atri por su incondicional apoyo al Revolcadero Histórico, y a Javier Hernández Castañon, campeón nacional de los ochentas y competidor del Oxbox internacional.
